Christian Education Chair - Kristy Stephenson

Our children's ministry at Providence starts when our kids begin attending church. Our programs for children and youth are a key part of our efforts to fulfill the promises that we make when each child is baptized. We are committed to helping to raise children to know Jesus Christ,to build relationships that model God's love, and to treat others as Jesus taught us.

Children's Worship

Children's Worship is a kid-sized worship experience for children ages 4 through 5th grade. Children's Worship includes music, scripture verses, Bible lessons, and fellowship in an interactive format.

Youth Group

Our youth group meets each Sunday at 6:00 pm and participates in local mission projects, retreats, conferences, and fun outings throughout the year. For our full calendar of events, please contact the elder of Youth Christian Education.

Vacation Bible School

VBS serves children in our church and in the community. We enjoy worship, lessons, outside games, crafts, and a meal together while learning more about the Bible. VBS begins on the fourth Sunday of July and concludes on the following Thursday night. We begin the online registration process in late spring.

VBS is truly a church-wide event, and you will hear children and adults singing this music all year.

Boy Scouts

Our church sponsors Boy Scout Pack 210 as a ministry.

Christmas Program

The youth and children, along with plenty of adult volunteers have an annual Christmas Program.
